YAN is an AI-powered consumer intelligence platform. We use AI to cross-reference regulatory frameworks, scientific evidence, and publicly observable product information to identify information gaps.
We produce Insight Reports — analytical works examining standards, science, and product claims. Reports analyse systems and standards. Companies appear as representative examples of systemic patterns, not subjects of allegation. Full methodology at our methodology page.
4. Our Analytical Methodology
Our reports analyse regulatory frameworks, scientific evidence, and publicly observable product information to identify information gaps. Where companies or products are referenced, they appear as representative examples of systemic patterns — not as subjects of allegation. Our analysis examines what standards and regulations require, not whether any individual company has acted wrongfully. Organisations referenced in our analysis are invited to provide additional context or corrections at [email protected].
Insight Reports are analytical works produced using AI, not professional advice. We take reasonable care but do not guarantee completeness.
5. Corrections and Company Response Process
We welcome corrections and additional context from organisations referenced in our reports. Please contact [email protected].
- Acknowledgement within 7 working days
- Simple corrections within 14 working days
- Complex disputes within 30 working days
Correction notes are appended to reports. There is a standing invitation for organisations to provide additional context.
6. Use of the Site
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site
- Use the Site to transmit any malicious code or harmful content
- Interfere with or disrupt the Site or servers connected to the Site
- Scrape, copy, or redistribute our content without permission

All content on this Site is the property of Palm & Pine Living Limited. Reports are analytical works produced using our AI methodology.
Personal non-commercial sharing is permitted with attribution and a link back to the original content. Commercial use requires prior written consent — contact [email protected].
8. User Content
Content you submit to the Site (such as comments, feedback, petitions, and contact form submissions) is subject to a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence for us to use in connection with our services. You must not submit content that violates the rights of any third party.

10. Marketplace
YAN will operate a marketplace for curated sustainable products. When fully operational, additional terms will apply covering:

- Cancellation and returns

- Payment processing
Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply to all purchases.
